Special Educational Needs Information Report
East Bergholt High School is committed to meeting the needs of all students including those with special educational needs. There is a shared expectation that all students, regardless of their specific needs, should be offered inclusive teaching which will enable them to make the best possible progress in school and feel that they are a valued member of the wider school community.
East Bergholt High School is an inclusive school and is supported by the Local Authority to ensure that all students, regardless of their specific needs, make the best possible progress in school. All schools are supported to be as inclusive as possible, with the needs of students with a Special Educational Need(s) being met in a mainstream setting wherever possible, where families want this to happen.
One Page Profile
Many students working with the Inclusion Team have One Page Profiles to support their learning. Ordinarily, work would begin on the profiles in the summer term. To support your child’s learning, it would be beneficial to prepare the information in advance. The downloadable template can be prepared in advance of the return in September, ready for discussion with adults in the Inclusion Team. You can download the profile template here.
