Citizenship

At East Bergholt High School Citizenship is delivered through the Personal, Social, Health and Economic programme, (PSHE) through other school subjects, (e.g. Geography, History, Philosophy and Ethics) and through afternoon Citizenship sessions and assemblies.  Sometimes elements of Citizenship are delivered through specifically arranged events (e.g. outside speakers, the Mock Magistrates Scheme, charity events etc).  Year Leaders have responsibility for Citizenship delivery in their year group. 

Students can take part in a range of Citizenship activities outside of the classroom, many of which are led by students themselves.  Some recent activities include: Macmillan Coffee Morning, European Day of Languages, Pride week, Restart a Heart Day and Eco Ambassadors group.
